About
Bergen
Bergen is situated in the midst of 7 mountains and is also called the gateway to the fjords of Norway. The city has about 270 000 citizens, but represents most of the international music successes in Norway such as KYGO, Alan Walker, Sigrid, Boy Pablo and AURORA. Bergen also represents some of the more interesting music technology cases in Norway such as Voisey, MusicDNA, OIID, Crescat and Nexro.
The Venue
The conference takes place at Bergen Kjøtt, Skutevikstorget 1, 5032 Bergen.
Bus 3, 4, 12 and 19 go frequently from midtown to the stop: Skutevikstorget.
Bergen Kjøtt used to be a meat (kjøtt) factory and a margarine factory. Now the building is one of the leading production and recording houses for music and art in Norway with 28 seperate studios and 110 resident musicians and artists.

There is access from street level, Bergen Kjøtt welcomes service dogs and there is toilet facilities available for all genders which are wheelchair accessible. Visitors with wheelchairs have access to the 2nd floor concert hall via the lift from street level (the side entrance is via a ramp up to a step height of 10 cm; all doors for the route above have a width of min. 90 cm). Social events
There will be loads of opportunities to get to know the other participants. The schedule includes mixers, breaks, meals and parties as well as a ticket to the music festival Bergenfest, where we will all go together on Wednesday after the conference.
